Matthew J. Peluso, DDS '93 is the owner of Peluso Orthodontics, with locations in both Cedar Grove and Wayne, NJ.
Dr. Matthew J. Peluso grew up in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, and attended St. Edmunds Elementary School. He attended Xaverian and graduated in 1993. At Xaverian, Dr. Peluso was involved in many extracurricular activities, including the SCC, the Wrestling team, and the Lacrosse Team. After graduating from Xaverian, Dr. Peluso attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where he received a B.A. degree. Upon graduating from Rutgers University, Dr. Peluso attended dental school at UMDNJ which is now Rutgers Dental School in Newark, NJ, and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Peluso was awarded the prestigious Stanley S. Bergen, Jr. Medal of Excellence. Dr. Peluso then completed an orthodontic residency program at the University of Maryland, earning both a specialty certificate in orthodontics, as well as a Master of Science degree. He is a published researcher, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and an esteemed member of numerous professional dental organizations. Dr. Peluso is the owner of Peluso Orthodontics, with locations in both Cedar Grove and Wayne, NJ. Dr. Peluso is married to his wife, Jennifer, and has a 19-year-old daughter, Amanda, who is currently attending Sacred Heart University.
